Terms of Service

1. What these terms cover

pragma.vision is a technology-observatory service: a public technology register and atlas, published articles and digests, the paid Professional Watch subscription, and the ebook shop. Accounts are provided through my.soft.house (its Terms of Service apply to the account itself).

2. Free content

Browsing the register, atlas, articles and digests is free and requires no account. Content is provided for general information — it is not investment, legal or professional advice, and decisions based on it are your own.

3. AI-assisted content

Parts of the published content are AI-assembled from our curated data and are labeled as such on the page (our transparency approach under EU AI Act art. 50). Human-editorial sections are labeled accordingly. If you believe a page is mislabeled, tell us and we will review it.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Sign-in uses your my.soft.house account. You may not scrape at volumes that degrade the service, republish our register or content wholesale, probe security, or use the service unlawfully. API/agent access, where offered, has its own published limits.

5. Professional Watch subscription

• Price and billing period are shown at purchase; billing is handled by our payment provider. You can cancel any time from the customer portal — cancellation stops future renewals and access continues to the end of the paid period.
• EU consumers: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By requesting immediate access you consent to performance starting before the withdrawal window ends; if you withdraw within 14 days you pay proportionally for the period already provided.
• We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days notice; changes apply from your next billing period, and you can cancel before they take effect.

6. Ebook shop

• Checkout, VAT and invoicing for ebooks are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy's checkout terms apply to the payment transaction; these terms govern the content license.
• License: personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable. You may read the files on your own devices and keep private backups. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, or use the content to train AI systems for redistribution. Files are DRM-free — we rely on this license and your good faith.
• EU consumers — digital content: by choosing immediate download you expressly consent to delivery before the 14-day withdrawal window ends and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (the statutory digital-content exemption). The consent checkbox appears at checkout.

7. Intellectual property

The register, atlas, articles, ebooks and branding are owned by Pragma Vision LLC or licensed to us. Short quotation with attribution and linking are welcome; wholesale reproduction is not.

8. Liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including EU consumer rights. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on observatory content (§2).

9. Refunds and withdrawal

The standalone Refund Policy restates the cancellation, withdrawal and refund rules of §5 and §6 in one place. If the two ever disagree, these Terms prevail.

10. Changes to these terms

Material changes: 14 days advance notice to subscribers by e-mail and renewed acceptance at next sign-in; the version and effective date appear at the top of this page, and your acceptance is recorded with the version number.

11. Governing law

Law of the State of Wyoming, USA, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their country of habitual residence, including the right to proceed in their own courts.
