What is Jua EPT-2?

Jua EPT-2 is an AI foundation model built to forecast weather and other physical earth-system variables, trained on large volumes of historical atmospheric and satellite observation data rather than solving the physics equations used by traditional numerical weather prediction. Because it learns patterns directly from data, it can generate forecasts using far less computation than a conventional physics-based weather model while covering variables such as temperature, wind, and precipitation.
