What the current evidence supports

Track; not yet

Why
Vendor benchmarks across 17 real projects show tsrs faster and lighter on every one (4x-17x on time at default settings, 2x-7x less memory at equal checker counts), the project is Apache-2.0 and backed by Cloudflare and VoidZero working with the TypeScript team. But it is days old, explicitly experimental, still diverges from upstream diagnostics, has only pre-1.0 releases (latest 0.18.0), and the WASM build lacks threading, watch and language-server support, so it cannot yet replace the reference checker.
Next
Run tsrs as a separate non-blocking CI job beside tsc/tsgo, record which TypeScript revision each follows, and re-evaluate when a stable release against TypeScript 7.1 ships.
