What the current evidence supports

Track; not yet

Why
Early production has reportedly started and most of a 1M/yr line is installed, but the only evidence is management statements. The 1M/yr rate is a year or more away, outside deliveries are not before late 2027, and Tesla missed its 2025 target of about 10,000 units. September reporting cited fragile hands, misaligned parts and supplier quality problems, and in January 2026 Musk said no Optimus robots were doing useful work in Tesla's factories.
Next
Re-check after the promised non-preprogrammed task video, the AI5 integration (April) and any independent confirmation of weekly Fremont output or first external deliveries.
