What the current evidence supports

Track; not yet

Why
VaultIC409 is a credible next step for SEALSQ, which has a FIPS 140-3 L3 certificate for VaultIC408 and a QS7001 post-quantum platform with a published certification roadmap. Every post-quantum claim for VaultIC409 is still pre-sample and pre-certification: engineering samples are planned for Q2 2027, the QS7001 basis has not completed Common Criteria EAL5+, and the vendor itself says its existing FIPS validation does not cover post-quantum algorithms. Evidence is vendor press releases plus one trade-press repeat, and no independent test was found.
Next
Re-check after electronica (Nov 10-13, 2026) for demo findings, the October 2026 and January 2027 QS7001 Common Criteria lab report milestones, Q2 2027 sample availability, and any independent Common Criteria or FIPS 140-3 post-quantum validation.
