What is ZKPassport?

ZKPassport is an application that reads the signed chip of a biometric passport or comparable electronic identity document and produces a zero-knowledge proof about the data it holds. The holder can prove a statement such as nationality or being above an age threshold without revealing the passport number or photograph, and ZKPassport keeps the proof bound to the issuing country's signature chain.
