What is Microsoft Entra Passkey Profiles & Synced Passkeys?

Microsoft Entra Passkey Profiles and Synced Passkeys extend an enterprise identity service so that administrators can define which passkey providers and authenticator models are acceptable for sign-in, including passkeys synchronized across a user's devices through a cloud credential manager. A profile expresses that policy as a set of permitted authenticator identifiers, letting one workforce population register consumer synced passkeys while another is restricted to device-bound hardware keys.
