What is GreenFire GreenLoop Down-Bore Heat Exchanger?

GreenLoop is a closed-loop geothermal system built by GreenFire Energy that lowers a coaxial, tube-in-tube heat exchanger down a wellbore so a working fluid can absorb heat from the surrounding hot rock without ever contacting or extracting the reservoir's native water or steam. The heated fluid returns to the surface through vacuum-insulated tubing and can drive a power-generating turbine or supply heat directly, while leaving the reservoir's mass and pressure undisturbed for continued use.
