What is FireSat?

FireSat is a satellite constellation purpose-built to detect and characterize wildfires using high-resolution multispectral infrared imagery interpreted by AI models, designed to spot fires as small as a few meters across anywhere on Earth. As more satellites join the constellation, revisit times over any given location shrink, moving from a handful of checks per day toward continuous, near-real-time coverage of fire-prone regions.
