What is Corintis Microfluidic Cooling (Glacierware / Therminator)?

Corintis Microfluidic Cooling, marketed under the Glacierware and Therminator names, is a chip-cooling technology that etches or bonds a network of microscopic coolant channels directly onto or into a processor's silicon, circulating liquid through channels near the heat source to remove concentrated heat more effectively than cold plates mounted on top of a chip package.
